I'm not spending any money on this motor. I use 10w 30 I get for free at work since I leak/burn through a quart of oil every week or so. Just waiting for it to blow up then I'll get another engine.

Finally put on some front tow hooks!
Got them from rugged ridge they are nice hooks but they sent me the wrong bolts to attach the bracket to my chases so for now it's incomplete. But they're still sturdy just going to avoid some tough pulls

Removed the bumper for brackets

Properly charged the ac in the xj. Blows ice cubes on a 90+ day. Also installed a siren. Temporally hooked too a push button for now. Gonna use it when I get keyless entry installed, sucker is loud and will scare the crap out of a thief.

Sure it's a rod knock? They don't knock for long........

Maybe something else. Flexplate to converter bolts if it's an auto.

I thought about that but I also have no oil pressure when warmed up, checked with a mechanical gauge and I blow lots of smoke when revved

Yesterday, brought home a 97 XJ Sport 4x4 to park near my 98 XJ Classic 2wd.
Now I will have a XJ for summer, and one for winter.....

Cause 2 wd xjs are fun to drive fast with and do decent on gas but have comfort of an xj. Not a bad deal as long as low profiles dont go on it
