I have no covers on any of my lights nor fenders and I haven't heard anything from any cops. Mainly because they would be hypocrites since they all drive modified jeeps lol

But what does the height have to do with the cover? Are they saying something may hit the light and break the lens or is there a real reason. I can understand how headlights must be below a certain height but thats a law for when they are used for driving. If the lights are off whats he issue. Just wondering.

But apparently around a week ago two classmates got pulled over both in two different cars on different days (different stories) and were fined for going less than 8mph over the speed limit so I think this town is getting hard on the little things for some reason

From what I've been told by a former ct state inspector, you could accidentally turn them on, leave the switch on and not notice, etc. Because of how high they are they easily blind oncoming traffic. So in ct at least any lights mounted above the bottom of the windshield are supposed to be covered.

This, and road rage. I can imagine some people on here throwing 500W of lights at someone instead of flashing their high beams.

The highbeams just don't get the point across sometimes

High beams first, if they don't turn them off then, they'll get the wrath of 500+W... lol

My bro had red and amber deck lights on his windshield, he got arrested for impersonation of a police officer, charges never filed.

That's great for keeping tools safe while doorless! Looking great!

They're tough on little things here too. I got pulled over as I was pulling into my driveway one night, and the cop was threatening to impound my Jeep just because my tag light was out if he saw it on the road again. He was threatening me with other things too, just a bunch of bs. Then he sat at the store 1/8 mile from my house every night for two weeks after that watching my house. Yet i know for a fact they let child molesters go free. Cops here suck.
At least they dont care about lift height, flares, things like that.

Back on topic, just got my new hub assembly, about to put it on. Hope the other one lasts a week or two so I can afford to replace it too.

General maintainence day. Lithium grease doors, check fluids, clean connections, an check tire pressure. Saw that my brake fluid was a lil low. That explains why my rear brakes haven't been locking up so much lately. Need to replace the hard line when I do my conversion
