I made a pattern out of cardboard to make sure of the shape and size accordingly to the window first.

I cut up that rack (5 bucks from junkyard) and then I welded a rod all around the wire mesh so it won't poke or tear anything. I also welded four tabs from a strip of steel on the wire mesh, those two on top are where two trim screws on the top so I don't have to drill extra holes on the trim.

As for bottom tabs, I got more d-rings that originally went on the cargo floor, and I put it under the tabs and screwed it to bottom trim. That way if I wanted to secure something on the side, I can use that d rings as an anchor point instead of floor.

I also plan to get bigger d rings for the floor.

I will take a picture of bottom tabs later, I haven't painted it ha.

Just some stuff from Home Depot that said "high temp".

Where did you get the tubing for the cowl induction? Is that a filter in the middle? I found the thread for the install. Nevermind.

Excellent idea for recycling old dog crates.

Yeah, it's the Spectre Cowl Intake. I ordered it from IRO because they always get my business over anyone if possible.
