You MUST use 75W-90 GL-4 lube in the AX-15. If it says "GL-5" on it do NOT put it in - it will eat the brass syncros.

I use AMSOIL MTG http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-produc...ont%2fmtg.aspx
Redline MT-90 is another good one.

If you can't get either of those before the weekend, Chrysler/AISIN says 10W-30 motor oil is an acceptable fluid for the AX-15.

3/4" EMT sleeved in 1" so it can rotate in the wind. Flag is secured by quick links to eyebolts through the 3/4".

Bout to beat out the hatch to see if I can get straight enough for plexy-glass, and if I can get the handle back to working. If not guess we'll replace it. Wish me luck.

Chrysler released a TSB to that effect, superceding the part number for GL-3 gear oil with the part number for 10W30. Must be a complete coincidence that this was only after the drive train warranty expired on vehicles with the AX-series transmissions...

However, Aisin never said that. Much in the same way that Aisin NEVER said that ATF+4 was acceptable in an AW4. Another Chrysler out-of-warranty shenanigan to simplify their stock.

This has been a "rain all day" type of day, so good time to spend on the XJ.

My heater blower only working on high, so changed the part with the little colls, working good now.
Have been flushing the cooling system everyday, so put in a new thermostat.

So does synchromesh fall into that category? If not I know some guys that sell amsoil. I just used synchromesh from what everyone else said on the forums. I heard type f is ok on the syncros but its still an ATF fluid and that just doesn't make sense to me

My clutch leaks fluid, so I went to top it off after work today, and the hood release cable broke. So, I stripped the coating and steel reinforcement back enough to grab the cable with some pliers to release my hood. Just pulled the hood release cable and handle off the MJ, but it started raining again so I haven't swapped it to the XJ yet. Once the rain stops again, the new hood release is going on, and I'll start pulling the steering column out of the MJ too since my column is broken in the XJ.
