I used the hammered rattle can and it was too glossy for me. I went ahead and got the duplicator bed liner instead. Going to do mine this weekend.
Chasing codes
Have a 1999 Cherokee Classic 4.0 inline 6. I've read probably all the threads on P1698 and can't figure it out. Have reseated cluster ... Was not having an issue other than a couple time the speedo jumped to 100 when I was pulling out of drive. Cleaned and reseated ground wires. Etc. here is what I have noticed.... 1. If I clear the code and drive 35 mph max... The code won't return... The upshift at 39mph prompts the code. The idle is a little rough a first but settles in.... I occasionally get p0306 but not sure it is related. Focus is on p1698. Any ideas? The jeep runs really well... Only oddity transmission wise is that 4th and overdrive go at roughly the same shift.

Only reason I am getting some cash is because we had a really bad wind storm and my tree snapped and a limb fell on the back end of the jeep. I really don't want to get it painted because they will only cover the damaged areas. Don't want one shinny nice side and the other looking like crap still. Lol. Might as well just throw the cash towards the loan.

Fabbed up some light tabs for my bumper to mount the light bar. Almost done with the bumper. Just need to get some bed liner on it then wire up the led bar. Almost there!

Nice.
Just got done washing and waxing my 99 DD. Used a new fangled soap dispenser/hose nozzel thing from walmart. It was nice. Finally got a coat of wax on it so I don't have to work so hard to clean it. But I may have to clay bar it next time, oh and buy a power buffer.

I'll be selling my upgraded harness (since you don't need it with these LEDs) and H4 housings now that I have these bad boys
