From a 2005 wrangler. It was a little tricky to convert from auto to manual. It's a good tranny but not at all for quick shifting.

Default I'm a newby here but not to jeeps

I may be new on this forum, but I've been driving jeeps since 1992 (gee 21 years when I put it down on paper).

My first jeep was a 1992 Cherokee Sport (not 4WD). I sold it in 2005 and bought a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee (4WD) so I can get up and down my driveway better because this girl is not getting any younger.

I've got 205,000 miles on "the jolly green giant" and things are starting to happen and I just want to be able to chat with like-minded people who can help me through getting my jeep fixed. I plan on keeping this jeep a good long time. This jeep is lastiing better than my marriage.

Thanks for adding me.

Well started Friday converting the carb motor to FI. Between sick kids, rain, and electrical gremlins....it's still not done. Gotta find out why the fuel pump doesn't pump even though it has power, but if I run a hot and ground to it from the battery I get all the fuel I want.

Ordered some gaskets, seals and an o2 sensor. Worked on tracking some leaks, checked my fluid levels after over a week since the last check and they are still above the safe line so at least the leaks are slow.
