That wiring look a little scary.

You probably have a engine trouble code indicating your park/neutral switch is stuck too. (otherwise you wouldn't be able to start it)

If you want, I have the full factory diagram/manual so you can figure what wire goes where or does what.

The switch is cleanable but from the pictures you are missing half of it.

Adapted a couple of pipe hanger halves to use as Hi- lift mounts.

Very nice idea. I would probably turn it so the handle is on the top so it doesn't come down and drag and the lifting part at the bottom so I can open my hatch.

I like simple and functional. good work

The handle is zip tied to the I beam and the jaw can turn enough with the bushings to clear the hatch. I had it the other way round and didn't like how low the jaw hung. Looked like a big catch everything and hang up protrusion.

First mounting option. Didn't like it.

Note to self never buy a jeep with idiot lights. Both of the ones I had have factory full set of gauges.

After looking at the picture of it upside down, I agree with you, and it seems like the other issue is not an issue. way to go..

Easy swap. A wrench and a screwdriver will replace the gauges and both the coolant temp and oil pressure sensors.

Legally, you aren't licensed. If it's digital, you can't. If it's analog, it's a pain. There are write-ups out there, but I'm on my phone.
