I put those in mine a few years ago. They take a little getting used to because they transmit more vibration but they hold up to the 4.7 with heavy towing. I like them.
As for lining them up, they have no give whatsoever. I put a board underneat the oil pan, lifted the engine a little and got both big bolts thru loosely then used an alignment punch (essential in every tool box) and it worked just great
I have an engine hoist on it. I got an alignment punch. The problem is, I lined up the bolts, started them, then went to let the engine down and it stopped. It got hung up on the metal part of the bushing. Tried every which way with a crow bar, BAS (big *** screwdriver), etc to get it to line up. Nothing.
It's funny because it slides right in there perfect fit if the bolts are not lined up.
You're not joking about no give. These things are precise. I ran out of daylight (and energy) so I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Bedlined my front bumper because I don't like chrome all too much. I tried to trim my fenders too while I waited between coats, but my dad came by yelling at me that I'm not allowed to cut my fenders... I have to wait till he's not around to do adventurous stuff with my jeep.

Welded my D ring tabs to my front bumper. Now I gotta pick up some D-rings and a new strap, and find a big tree to test them out.

So does this mean my odometer is off as well as my speed because I've lifted my jeep and put tires on but didn't redo the stock gears?

Today i fitted stripped and cleaned all the rear brake back plates and fitted new rear brake shoes and adjusters, then adjusted rear shoes and handbrake lever travel.
Next job was to replace the tired rear shocks with new KYB gas units, i also encountered the age old problem with the bolts breaking off on 3 of the 4 so had to punch the old studs out and fish new bolts through, plenty of anti seize and job done in an hour.
Tomorow i will replace the front brake pads and clean the calipers to make sure they dont bind.
So all in a good day so far and tonight i am taking the better half out to a country pub for a couple of beers while we are enjoying some very hot sunshine.

As for mine, put on the new Smittybilt seat covers.
Cleaned most of the enginebay to get a better look at my wiring and what needs replacing.
Tomorrow, wiring up the offroad lights....
