Well, started yesterday but finished today...
White XJ got a new fan clutch, exhaust reinstalled, track bar adjusted and bolted in, 1'' hood spacers, and cupholders!!
Black XJ got lowered from 5'' lift to 3'' lift, and ProComp LCAs
and heres a few pics....

 

Parking it for awhile to track down a new coolant leak. It's not the bottle anymore but its something else. Also filled up the tow rig a mere 120 dollars to fill, but topped it of and figured its getting 22 that's a mix of city and highway miles. Not bad for a truck.

 

replaced the sway bar bushings and end links and changed my front diff fluid and painted the cover bright orange

 

Today I found a package of bushings in a box that my po gave me when I bought the jeep. I would install them but i can't seem to figure what what they go to...

 

Ordered 4 bilstein 5100s to replace the worn out skyjackers.

 

Looks like shock absorber eye bushings.

 

First coat down. The exposed spots will be bedlined. Masking was a PITA

 

Are you just rattle canning it?

 

Okay cool. one of my shocks bushings is shot so now I don't have to buy any.

 

im gonna guess sway bar bushings.. then again, they seem like they sleeve into something and theres not enough of em to do both sides..

 

Officially part of the ODGreen club. Rattle can Rustoleum Deep Forest Green, black and rustoleum spray bedliner. Good way to spend the weekend. Need a little touch up here and there and next week may do some black on the hood and have to reapply some badges.

 

Just switched the electric fan to a 97+ fan with 10 blades on my 99 xj.

Yes it had the older 6 blade fan because I didn't know any better lol.

 

Does having the 10 blade fan really move more air than the 6?
