Tuned it up (Accel cap, rotor, plugs, and wires), replaced a mushy coupling, and put on the Putco harness... Then my headlight blew, so I went and bought another.

Also, rubberized half of my fuel tank, to prevent rust -- will rubberize the rest tomorrow, then mount it. And if my blower motor and resistor come, there's that too.

Guess I need to go ahead and order my head unit to replace my broken stock one... And my... Ohh lord, this is snowballing.

Amen.

Would this be why I've got some horrible squealing/grinding noise in my front end when making turns after installing new pads and rotors?

I put on my jcr steering box spacer and then procided to wobble out the 1/2" hole on the back of it. I also put in a new low pressure power steering line and added some fresh new max life power steering fluid. And finally I finished hooking up my trans temp gauge. Cutting the output line was a pain, I coul only get my tubing cutter around half of it so I had to struggle to get a complete cut. But I finally did and the gauge appears to be reading so semi successful day. Now off to another 6 days of work with minimal jeep wrenching..

City/highway combined 50/50 I guess. 4.0 HO with 5speed, just 2 inches of lift and 235s.

Good to know. So many times the RMS gets blamed first rather than last.

Sorry you felt ignored, we get a lot of emails it may have simply been over looked by mistake or not received at all.

The spacer isn't messed up, it doesn't seem to fit some models on that 4th hole (which we haven't been able to narrow down since it has fit on all the 96 and 97 we have tested it on). I have been trying to locate someone with a picture of their hole after they modified it and haven't had any luck, feel free to shoot us an email at info@jcroffroad.com if you have any pictures.

If you did not replace your wheel hub assembly, then no. You could have the wrong size rotor and it maybe rubbing the spindle. It would not take but a second to turn the wheel, get down there and look to see if the rotor has any gouges in it on the spindle side. You could have put the metal shield in backwards. That would cause a hell of a racket. In the pic it is what is behind my new wheel hub assembly.

Yeah mine was, just a couple minutes with a drill and a 1/2" bit and I was in good shape, except my bolt is too short now..

I figured it wasn't messed up since it's a universal piece and every xj is different. I'll try to get some pictures by the end of the day for you guys.

I bought one of your steering box spacers for my 99 and it fit no problem I only had to space it out between the box and the bracket because i did the dakota steering box swap. Not sure what that other guy is talking about but you guys have great sales support from my experiences buying stuff from you guys. I'll be buying from you guys in the future again. Your older style rear bumper saved my XJ from being totaled when i got rear ended and totaled the truck that hit me instead, thanks again for the quality products you guys produce.
