Got the HD Offroad no lift shackle relocators installed. All I need to do now is install the shackles to the leaf springs. Bilstein 5100s came in today also.
Well had a spare motorcycle horn in the garage so I wired it up to my 96 two door xj. Sounds funny as hell with the purple horny muffler I installed last month. Then I decided to bed line my bumpers fenders and the rest of the body from the lower body line on the doors down . It's a dark green xj so the color difference is subtle but looks good

Looking forward to the end results. Looks AND functionality. Did you also spray the vents to blend in better with the hood or were you keeping them black? Depending on the color of the jeep, I've liked those both ideas. On a blue jeep seen last year at the Pa ALL BREEDS SHOW his were sprayed to match and it looked great and recently I've seen a white TJ that left them black and I gotta say it made that ordinary white jeep look "mean". But I really think it depends on the color, i've seen them on others like a red one and they looked gaudy and over sized. So, curiously anticipating your finished project. Be sure to update us with photos and under hood temp improvements. Chewie out.

And I wont be able to report back on changes to hood temps for at least a few days. I'm doing a few different things to her at once so she's far from ready to leave the driveway
I'll post a pic as soon as I get em on this afternoon/evening

Never mind, this afternoon/evening sounded too far away so 5 AM wrenching it is. Here's what they look like. I love em. I'll have it back on the XJ this evening

Got the front bilstein 5100s installed, and as soon as I go to put the rear bumper back on it starts raining.

Got home from work, used my ridiculously hot valve cover to re-heat some chicken nuggets, pulled out all the tools to remove my old busted up rear bumper to replace with a new Omix-Ada replacement... and it started raining.
