Gonna tinker with front bumper today. I plan to lose the plastic cover on the right side so it matches the left one. I'll get some photos posted today too... may only be lawn crawlin' though.

We applied Gatorback coating to the bumpers and side moldings. They were faded so bad, almost white. This was on a 2001 Cherokee. The jeep looks brand new. In fact a neighbor came over and thought we replaced everything. It's suppose to last 4-5 years. It's better than using back to black.

It was yesterday, swapped in a GC 136 A alt after my stocks rear bearing failed. Note: remove all brackets and clearance them out of the vehicle. Clearance the alt body last.

Better without the plastic... now have to finish my winch bumper and get it installed.

I only could do the axle side joint because the body side uses a poly bushing on my arms. It just took me a couple hours to actually figure out how to get the things out. But once I did it was smooth sailing. I just used an air hammer and put it on the lip of the bushings sleave and then went to town. And with enough effort they popped out. Then I just used a ball joint press to press the new ones in. Then to get the bolt back through it took another set of hands to help. I had my dad put a big pipe through the knuckle to rotate the axle so the bolt hole lined up again. Took me a couple hours to get them both in.

unfortunately have to parke it for 5 weeks. Just got bones cut readjusted and screwed back on foot. Ill skip the pictures. LOL This is going to be hard......

2 good things.. off work for that time and not spending money on gas...

Last trip for a while.. great week around the lake.

Oh yeah, that was the first trip in this jeep ever. all it has is a custom bumper, a winch 235-75R-15 snow tires... And a 4.7 with a 6 speed..

I can't wait to transfer all from the jeep thats on my avatar picture.

No big deal, just joined the 300,000 mile club in my 2001 limited.

Don't mind the CEL. I need a new evap line from the canister to fuel tank.

Greased all the steering and front drive shaft. Now it's time for the slip yoke.
