Kicked it a few times. He's starting to develop issues. All at the same time and VERY close to snow season.
Brake fluid leak
Touchy brakes on the front
Fuel economy dropped to about 10mpg (YAY)
And my CB antenna mount tried to kill the antenna by coming apart. Fortunately after 20 minutes of driving I found the antenna on the middle of the street at my buddies house.

Holy ****ing ****. Front leaf spring bolts working solo with no lift, no heat, and no cutting tools...
The D44 is out after 5 1/2 hours. I'm so done for the day.

@*($&^# RUST!!!!
Well, my last wheeling trip ended up in the XJ's interior getting a bath. Even with it being in the upper 90's here every day, leaving it outside with the doors open and then pulling it into the garage at night with the doors open for about 3-4 days - it still hasn't dried out.
So I decided it was time for the carpet to go. I live in Florida - there's water in Florida - LOTS OF IT. So I don't need carpet, I need something easy to clean.
As far as I knew there was surface rust in the rear cargo area so I'll tackle that first... as far as I knew.
This was what I knew was back there...
This is what I DIDN'T know was under the rest of the carpet that I hadn't pulled back yet...
Holes...
My favorite has to be the one over top of the gas tank... that likes to vent vapors... Oh great, I gotta do SOMETHING about these holes or I'm going to get hydrocarbon poisoning or something.
No fiberglass strips or resin... no scrap sheet metal and no welder... what am I gonna do.
Put some carpet back in temporarily.
Doesn't look too bad and it keeps the fumes out... and it's not too hard to remove so - it will do for now. Plenty loud though.

Got him resting on his new axles. ZJ rear discs in (including modified cable for parking brake!), front DS in, RE extended sway bar links in, track bar relocated, all I had left to do is measuring tape alignment up front and bleed the brakes when the U joint caps fell off the rear DS and blew needle bearings everywhere. Managed to get them all and reassemble it - mother ****ing U joint strap screw sheared in half! Tomorrow I get to see if any of the ****wit stores here have the Dorman 81004 U bolts in stock. Well, the plan is to POR15 the whole thing, patch the holes with fiberglass and resin, and then bedline the whole thing. I have absolutely no money right now and these were what I had on hand... so this is my way of being frugal
lol
Saweet!
Dude, I didn't think you had a welder... how'd you get the spring perches on the ZJ axle?

I heard a knocking noise from my black jeep and found white foam on the dipstick. Blown Head gasket (Atleast it made it past 500k miles). Changed from Coils on the Red Jeep with a pry bar and some good kicks with my steel toe boots lol might do leafs tomorrow as long as the bolt's co-operate.
