Removed the front fender flares and installed my starter. The starter has been out for 2 weeks and I really missed driving it.

Darling Rd. Mudfest
My youngest and I went to the 1st Annual Darling Road MudFest. There were only around a dozen rigs and a few ATVs but, we had a blast.
Only a couple of big, mud trucks showed, 3 Wranglers, 1 other XJ and a bunch of beaters. There was even a local TV crew filming... I made sure to show that my "little" Cherokee on puny 31s could go where the big rigs on 40s were getting stuck or breaking!

Sure beats group hugs, or holding hands and singing Kum-by-yah.
Beach Bum
Testing new suspension, progressive bumpstops.
Went to the beach this morning at low tide. Drove 2 miles of 'camelhumps' (large whoops) and caught a bunch of air, up to 2 truck lengths.
Drove through the rutted beach at almost 40 mph.
Handled good but it did get rough inside the cab.
More 'lively' with the swaybar disconnected.
BDS 7 leaf 3" lift springs.
Clayton shackles.
RE 4.5" coils w/prothane inserts.
Bilstein 5100 10"

Checked the fluids, found it almost2 quarts low on oil, I really need to do my valve cover and breather. It's been pouring oil out the air filter.

Installed new valve cover gasket and the putco wiring harness. Scored some seats that recline from a 97 xj in charcoal gray. Found a 93 sport at pul a part with the factory bumper mount spare tire carrier but didn't have the right tools with me. Drove home (70 miles) round trip, went back and someone already snagged it. Lesson learned. I will have the correct tools in my bag next time.
