The switch covers are a PITA to get off without breaking the swtich. I caught one to the eye when it popped off. lol

How in the hell DO you get them off I tried like hell on one and just thought I was gonna break the damn thing.

Of course now I think I have a switch problem AND broken words between the front doors.

I used a interior panel clip removal tool on both sides at the same time. They just snap off. You have to apply even pressure on both sides at the same time.

That's it. Just refresh the solder joint in front of the window lock switch.

While inspecting my latest purchase (1986 Comanche X 2.8l) I discovered a broken passenger side exhaust manifold. Searching for a replacement has been mind boggling. Found several new drivers side but none for passenger.I am also contemplating trading edelbrock torker intake set up for stock 2bbl.

New toolbox so I'm not spending all day looking for tools while I work on her.

What did you do to your Cherokee today?-image-1513391502.jpg

Also went to change the front u-joints and wheelbearings and found my emergency spare bearing is the wrong one...offset and stud length is different (came off a TJ).

99+ bearings were different. The studs were longer and the offset was different by a few millimeters.

Got a call from the machine shop with an update on the block, looks like it needs to be bored .030 over so piston shopping it is and if readily available 4.2l rods and crank
