Got the car trailer cleaned up FOR future jeep use and so i can move my new barn Sun. Very excited about that. Put a new tire on the rear axle on the back. Need two more tires to replace the ones on the pass side. Lo-boy tires aren't cheap. Be haulin the jeep on it as soon as i get the dually brakes fixed. I dread that so bad. Lol need to make sure the trailer brakes work also.
New barn, well its new to me. 10x16. It'll hold jeep parts and whatnot.

Today I finally deleted the heater core valve. That was the third one that failed on me; 1 from cracking, and the last two leaked from the actual valve. Feels so good to have just straight hoses.
Anyone else had bad luck with heater core valves? Or are all of mine dropped in the warehouse.

Got halfway through upgrading to a 136a 1999 Durango 5.2L alternator.
Over the past few days my alternator hasn't been charging my battery. Took it to advanced this morning and they said it was junk. I got one for a 1998 Grand Cherokee with a 5.2 at first, but the plug was different on the back. Went back and got the Durango one with the same connecter as my '99, and the guy at advanced swapped my stock pulley onto it. Ground the mount down and got it to fit, but haven't mounted it to the jeep yet. I was just about late for class.

Did an oil change. Apparently its still leaking from somewhere besides the valve cover now. I was low at least a quart.
Then decided to install a new track bar in hopes of fixing my DW. On reinstall the damn track bar bolt on the axle side decided to cross thread i to the flange nut. So its off to the store in the morning to find a replacement. Will I be fine with just a standard nut instead of the flange nut?
Sad jeep likes to fight me every step of the way

For faded trim parts I have always used Aerospace 303.... works spectacular. If the trim is severely faded, might take upwards of 5 treatments, but once you get it looking good you won't regret it. I have never used heat gun on trim, I can't imagine that it would look uniform throughout.
