Cubby hole speaker cover plywood thingy because I was bored and I can.
It'll get it painted or covered in something. I'll put my 6x9's in there. Maybe both of them will fit.

Put my military issued vest to use, why pay $100 for the smittybilt when the military just gives it to me for free. I'm sure it doesn't fit as well or isn't as comfy, but it works just the same.

Looks nice! Grats on finding a vehicle at the JY that hasn't had open doors for four seasons.

I bought my first XJ on Saturday. It's a maroon 2000 Sport 4-door. Everything is stock except for a 2-inch lift. I took it off road for the first time today on some rocky, muddy mountain roads near my home in Utah
I also took it over to O'Reilly's Auto Parts and had them run a battery/alternator check, which it thankfully passed just fine. I also had them run an OBD check to see if it had any history of trouble. Apparently, the check engine light has never been on
While there, I bought some new spark plugs to replace the current ones for good measure. Within the week, I plan to replace all the fluids and have a mechanic give it a good look-over for trouble with the uni-body or suspension.
Future plans involve cleaning, scuffing, and painting all of the plastic trim pieces black, because they're either fading if they're already black, or getting oxidized if they're painted. The paint on all of the metal areas of the Jeep looks great, and I'll be waxing it up before winter gets too far along to protect it from the harsh elements and road grime we get here in the winter.

Thank you! I'm a Jeep guy for sure. I drove a beastly CJ-8 with a 6-inch lift & 35's through high school, and grew up going to Moab at least once a year and bombing around on some great trails with my family, but they all seem to have lost interest as they've gotten married & had kids
It was about time I got my own Jeep
