I also took it over to O'Reilly's Auto Parts and had them run a battery/alternator check, which it thankfully passed just fine. I also had them run an OBD check to see if it had any history of trouble. Apparently, the check engine light has never been on

While there, I bought some new spark plugs to replace the current ones for good measure. Within the week, I plan to replace all the fluids and have a mechanic give it a good look-over for trouble with the uni-body or suspension.

Future plans involve cleaning, scuffing, and painting all of the plastic trim pieces black, because they're either fading if they're already black, or getting oxidized if they're painted. The paint on all of the metal areas of the Jeep looks great, and I'll be waxing it up before winter gets too far along to protect it from the harsh elements and road grime we get here in the winter.
Wow. Welcome.

It's refreshing to see someone check their new Jeep out before using it a bunch. I wish more new owners would do that.

Armorall and a stiff detail brush will get the years of dirt out of the rubber seals. You'll be much happier than painting them cuz the paint will crack along all the edges

Yeah, I wanna go bad, but school's hampering me, too. I'll be happy for a while just bombing around the mountains near AF & Provo Canyons, though. As far as Cliffhanger, I think that's just a tad above my Jeep's capability for now. I'll stick with Poison Spider, Gold Bar Rim & the like until I have some more money to put into the Jeep.

Default Shout out - Thanks to all of you

Bought a 95 XJ with 84,000 mi about 6 months ago for $2600. Let's just say it may have been in a salty environment.

Anyway, Yall have saved me tons of time and cash as I continually fix stuff.
Elec Radiator, yes the infamous Crankshaft sensor, loose flywheel just needed tightening when mechanic wanted to replace for $500+. 3" lift, oil leak, paint touch up,etc.

Here is before and after.

Many thanks. Keep Jeepin.
