Been on Google maps for 3 hours looking at different trails to possibly explore next week. I'm surprised how many there are. I've lived here 12 years and have never once looked

Today my autopal e-codes arrived. The install was quick and easy aside from needing to bend the ears on the headlight buckets a bit. They were a bit loose and rattled a bit at first. I went with the 55 watt bulbs that came with them. Light output is good. Its much different than the output of my silverstar sealed beams. They seemed a bit more white looking. Definitely a different light pattern, thats for sure. I will probably upgrade the bulbs in the future.

+1 do the harness. Don't even think about upgrading the bulbs until you do. You may even decide you don't need to

Yes, I did the harness last week, after I replaced my toasty headlight switch. LOL. Im not gonna go nuts with the bulbs, I just might try something with a whiter light. People always slag on the silverstar lights but Ive always liked them and havent had an issue with them burning out. I also have not had any issues with my factory foglights yet, but I will be installing my new ones tomorrow as the old ones were toast. I did verify that I had power to the fogs by measuring at each light socket with my meter so I know the circuitry and wiring are all good to go.Hopefully I wont run into the high beam issue with the factory fogs. Just in case Ive got the drivers side old headlight socket pulled out in case I have to ground one of the red wires. I just have to figure out which one is high beam power and which one is ground for the fog light relay. Dont want to ground the wrong one.

Glad to hear you've got the harness!!
I used 80/100 Phillips bulbs in my autopals.

I had the same problem, check the exhaust hangers. The hanger at the cat was missing / rusted off on mine and the exhaust pipe was hitting the cross member. Good luck.

Damn, this place is good. I have that same sound and sure enough the hanger for the pipe before the cat is broken off and the pipe is resting on the cross member. Its one of those hangers that is a welded rod that is bent and slips into a rubber hanger. How did you fix yours?
