Today I replaced the broken rotted out factory fog lights with new replacements. I got them from amazon for just under $60 for the pair. They are identical to the originals except that they have glass lenses. The old ones were plastic. 2 torx bolts on each side and plug them in and I had fog lights again. The switch seems to be good as well. I had replaced my headlight harness recently and upgraded the headlights too and was worried that I might run into problems with the high beams and factory fogs. But it all works fine. When I hit the high beams, the fogs go out, just like they are supposed to. Maybe this was not a problem with the 2000 model?

But then again, I ditched the fogs altogether and have a light bar now

Not on your life! I work at a lake and had to pull some boats out of the water and store them in the yard about 60 yards away. Those are the really beefy zip ties too, they're like 1/8" thick uhmw. Used 4 of em.

You used the Putco harness? I had to remove my factory fog relay. Which means I did away with the crap stock foglight wiring, and wired it up the way it's supposed to be for me--they stay on no matter what, unless I turn off the switch.
But then again, I ditched the fogs altogether and have a light bar now
