Thing I'm curious about with my 2k (may have a cracked head...) is if I get a head from say a 99 and slap a header on it will it still pass CA emissions. Id have to check the numbers for each year and talk with my smog guy (who I'm seeing today in fact) to find out if it will pass "inspection" which I don't he ever does. At least not that thoroughly anyway.

 

Moved the handle in the passenger front seat onto the A pillar so my kids can get in easier. I am having some trouble uploading the picture of it finished, but here is a pic after I cut the plastic trim with a hot knife. I then drilled the handle in place with self-drilling screws into the frame.

 

Not a bad idea. I'd like to see it finished. I bet my wife and kids would both appreciate that.

 

My next guess is to try it after I've driven around for awhile. Maybe the heat will help to break it loose.

 

Won't fit right. Port sizes are different from 0331(2000+) and 0630 and 7120 heads.

Do you have the pre-cats right off the header? If so the O2 sensors need feedback or you will throw a code, go into limp mode, and not pass smog go.

So I guess I should say I ordered 2 sets of wiper blades for the XJ.

 

Got a set of BFG 31x10.5x15 on rims with 8/32 tread for $125 and the spare....mounted on stock ride height....Need to do a 2" lift for mild trail riding.....Stubbed the antenna
