replaced uca bushings and put 1/2 spacers on the hood hinges to lift up the back of the hood kind of a poor mans "cowl induction" but does help with the cooling. Might wash it today.

Broke an Alloy USA stub shaft, twisted both inner splines pretty badly, added about 6 dents, busted passenger side rear glass, cracked the hatch and ripped off the other bumper endcap. Luckily the shafts will be warrantied out! I can't figure out how I busted a chromoly shaft and the U-Joint is still in good shape... Who knows!?

Also, I packed up the CherokeeForum stickers. Kyle, I need the address again.

Got my old exhaust partially removed. I'm going to borrow my buddy's TigerSaw to finish the job. In the meantime it was a nice sunny day, so I set out my new Borla S.S. Cat-Back exhaust system and painted it with a very high heat paint. ->[check pic] I wanted BBQ black, but all the store had was a flat aluminum finish, so it looks more or less the same as it did before I started. I left the polished tip wrapped as it came shipped, so it'll still have a nice shine when I pull the wrapping off once it's installed. I managed to get 4 even coats before the can ran out. And in case you're wondering, I realize the Borla is stainless steel, but figured that a heat paint would help make a good thing even better. (I think I'm over-compensating with trying to rust-proof everything on my 'new' Jeep because I took such lousy care of my old F-250 that it literally rotted away.)

Hope you didn't hydolock it. That looks pretty much underwater for the engine. Hope you got it out of that swimming hole.

One TPS, primary O2, and turn signal flasher...and she was fine...besides the obvious changing of every fluid... I've been through that hole dozens of times, and it was usually only 2-3 inches deep...someone really rutted it out since I was there last...it was literally 2-3 inches, then a sudden drop...oops...too late.

4.0Ls are tough. Di you have to tow it or did you have everything you needed with you. I know I carry a couple of quarts of oil and a filter spare CPS & TPS and plugs but that is about it. Everything else is back at the shop.

I had most everything with me, with the exception of the TPS. Needless to say, ran real rich on the way back to the shop...
