What did you do to your Cherokee today?

Put on some new wipers finally, great way to tell your wipers are bad is when they're started to dry rot and the spring release is rusted

Took the XJ back to the abandoned air strip and forest service road for the first time after the lift and tires. So much easier to make it over the eroded hills with 31s and the rear axle NOT riding on the bumpstops

Removed my CB Antennae that pulled through the roof last time I took it off-road. I created a couple aluminum plates to sandwhich and seal the roof panel to keep the roof from leaking and made something way more robust to keep it from working loose and leaking again. Will post up some pics Monday.

The 02 Grand has a leak? Plastic welded (solder iron) a small Rad Tank crack on the WJ.(drill small holes at the end(s) of cracks to prevent them from continuing).
Pulled the D30HP from the XJ parts truck. (Some fool got rammy at full clock in the Peep and broke the U Joint and axle yokes, an instant Duhhh!)
The Donor was stuborn but it's out now, wow heavy! Snow and not even Halloween yet. At least we can do the rest of the fix indoors.

new pinion seal, axle seals, and added a set of Alloy USA outer tube seals on the HP D30.
I have no idea was Jeep was thinking when they only put those plastic "slingers" on the shafts, all they do is hold mud and moisture in the tube, which of course causes seal failure and corrosion.
also replaced my passenger vent window that has been lexan that didn't quite fit right for a while, no more wind noise from that one lol.
Ooh shiny!
No drips!
And of course a little flexy time after all that work.
