Replace the crank sensor and the intermitten lost of crank or cam sensor went away.. I was tired of it jerkin while driving... just waiting for the cel light to go away

Do you have a scan tool or know someone that does? Most of them have the option to erase the code and turn off the light if the problem is fixed. It will do this without resetting the whole pcm so youre engine wont run funny for a while. I keep mine in the truck so if I ever get a heat soak related misfire code I can shut off the light right away.

Ill check into that I had disconnected the battery for awhile and hooked it back up and it came back on...

if you do that hold the terminals together for 10 seconds or so to clear the adaptive memory

prepped and primed new rear bumper and POR15'd some surface rust in front of rear tire and under wheel flare.

Wheres the confusion? You say cuz they didnt have high mileage oil 5 years ago so it cant be good. Thats just dumb. Technology is always improving. Maybe they couldnt make oil any better for high mileage vehicles 5 years ago. Or they didnt have the additives that they have now.

Made sure my 91 had more antifreeze than water in it. Then started playing around and test fitting the HD Off Road relocation brackets (no lift ones) and Zone shackles

One of my issues

I want to get as much lift out of the no-lift brackets as possible. So I'm running them low as possible, but I'm not going to be using a hitch because I'm gonna build a bumper There definitely needs to be some kind of spacer in there. Washers?

Also the shackle isn't wide enough up inside the bracket definitely going to have to throw a couple washers in between the bracket/shackle.
