Well I finally got the boxes off the work bench! My brother came down and we installed a 3 in Rough Country lift, new poly bushings stem to stern, new steering shaft, brake booster, water pump and hoses on my 92! So yes it's been a damn good weekend, the old War Wagon is running like a champ!!! Pictures to follow later!

Chief decals: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_189164-...e-XJ-1984.html

I don't think it's stock. I don't know of any XJ trim that had those decals.

Picked up my 98 Jeep Cherokee Limited, put new shoes on her and a new serpentine belt (which in the 12 degree windchill was a ton of fun). Now its time to save up for the lift and armor. This jeep will be used in the winter and in the woods only, as i'll be trading my 2012 liberty in on a BRZ.

Mine did the same thing. Had to get a new steering knuckle from the junkyard. If not then the screw will just come out again

Good weekend so far. Yesterday i installed my spare main leaf into my stock with AAL pack. Gained about an extra 3/4". Using the Dakota shackle came in handy.

Today i organized the tool box, eventually located panel retainers for drivers side door and hooked the sway bar up for the wind.

Tomorrow gotta measure for new rear shocks and make measurements for my next project, top hat.

You may have the wrong size freeze plug. They should stay in place without any sealant. I suggest using something anyway, but you shouldn't need to.

I don't think jb welding your freeze plug in is a good idea. They're supposed to move. I agree with NKOC make sure they're the right size.

I bought them in a pack, Dorman steel plugs, and am only having problems with the farthest one back on the side of the block. It's blown out four separate times with four different plugs. I was going to buy slightly bigger ones just for this one but thought why not..
