Changed the front axle seals today. Flat Rate said it should take 4 1/2 hours. I did it in 1 1/2. So now I've changd the diff fluid tiwce in the last 2 weeks. Friday I have to work on my right side upper control arm bushing. It didn't seat right so it popped out.

Over the weekend she got a little cooler! I put in a new radiator. $98 shipped from rockauto! It's only a 2 row, but is all I need for what I do.

Got a tailpipe made yesterday to fit my FM40 muffler and Magnaflow high flow cat. Now it is leak free and free flowing unlike my original exhaust that I just took off. The honeycomb in the cat was loose and rattling around and the muffler and pipe were rusted out. Now it just smells funky until it burns off all the crap that comes in new exhaust parts.

Installed 99% of my CB setup, then attempted to change the serpentine belt. Not only do I not have a tensioner pulley like everyone else seems to have, but the woman at the parts store gave me a belt for a right-hand-drive Cherokee.

RIGHT-HAND-DRIVE.

Why would they even have something like that in stock?!

Right hand drive XJ's were sold to the USPS for mail delivery vehicles. Not uncommon really, I've seen a few around here.

Someone else pointed this out to me not too long after I made my post. It was still pretty irritating.

In the process of replacing the rear main seal, oil pan gasket, oil, oil filter, cap and rotor, transmission filter, transmission fluid, Transmission pan gasket, Diff oil front and rear, front and rear diff gaskets, front drive shaft U-joint and redoing all the grounds in the engine compartment. Been at it for an hour and 15min and got the oil drained, oil pan off and rear main cap off... doesn't look like I'll be hitting the trails tonight.LOL My wallet hurts I've sent $220 at autozone and still need a few things...

i began cutting the hinges on the jeep to make the doors removable...and started to design my hidden snorkle system.
