When I say 99.5 I mean the jeeps made in late 99. Call em what you want. That's when they started putting 0331 heads in Cherokees.

What you call them is important. They are 2000s. Not 99s. Saying 99.5 will make people concerned they have the 0331 head when they don't.

Default New Bumper

Received new Smittybilt bumper yesterday from Quadratec, came with the Quadratec 9000 winch. Now that I found out it is chinese I am not so happy but I like them. Been getting a lot done on her lateley, also picked up my stroker mill from the machine shop today. Guy at machine shop is giving me a pretty good deal on a rebuild kit, so now all I have to do is sell my F150. Going up this weekend on CL.

Took bumpers to be powder coated and filled her up with gas. Also got a new windshield installed and fixed the rust forming under the seal. What a pain. But she is back on the road.

Drove 200 miles on a half tank. Not sure how but i did. And got some 3x5 lights from my cousin. But it's just the lights and I don't know much about electrical with lighting. So off todo some research on how to wire them up. Any good threads to look at about that?

Replaced my mystery battery with a duracell pro cell with 850CCA. Been cold this week, and I don't want to be left stranded.

QFT. Way too many misinformed people responding to "which XJ should I buy?" with "be wary of 1999" and scaring people unnecessarily. Like 5 very late 1999s were built with the 0331 head. The rule is much more important than the exception. Referring to build date is also completely useless except for academic purposes as the rest of the universe, including the manufacturer, goes by the model year in the VIN.

1996 is completely ****ed, however lol

The name Quadratec should've given it away.

On topic:
I'm sitting at a shop, waiting for an alignment. Tree did a number on the girl. My toe in is out, and I bent the swaybar link. Gonna have them check everything out to see if any parts need replaced.
