A lot more involved then that. They changed the floor in 97 I think and those brackets won't bolt onto the floor. Plus these seats I got had no brackets so I have to build into the seat frame new mounts to bolt the stock slider onto the newer seat. Plus the older brackets I have originally have a much narrower mounting pattern en the newer seats.

I also added a 1/2 spacer to the front bolts to tip the seat back a little and it's perfect. I don't feel like I'm sitting on a padded park bench but rather a bucket seat.

Knew it wasn't easy. Curious on how you had done it. I want to try and get zj seats in my xj or an mj bench.

It a pretty straight for ward swap. Just in bolt the stock xj tracks to the zj seat. The seats a tight fit but it fits

I've seen a Cherokee with acura seats before. I think it might be on jeep forum but I'm not for sure.

Put in an Accel tune up kit tonight

Sweet, after being in a ZJ for so long I can't imagine being in those small *** seats again.

Yep that's the one. That would be a cool project to do if you could get the seats for cheap

If I add a 6.5" lift on my 95 XJ should I have to have an adjustable trac bar and tcase drop? I have rusty a leafs and coils, all four shocks, drop pitman arm, front and back extended brake lines and ucas and Lcas that are adjustable. Need anything else?
