Took the Cherry out for a bit of sno'wheeling. Unfortunately the only photo I have of me is destroying some snow embankments while getting breakfast at Mickey D's on the way up north.....

Ouch, that sucks.

Was this a Freudian slip that you wrote "taco'd" with a Toyota lurking in the background??

If you do choose to smash a window....

Porcelain is harder than glass, if you have access to an old spark plug, break the white porcelain part with a hammer. If you throw a small piece of it at the window, it will shatter effortlessly.
It has little to do with the porcelain being harder. It has more to do with the fact that they break into sharp points. Force gets transferred to the window via the small point, breaks window more easily. If I had a hammer on hand I'd just smash the window with it....

Not denying it works, I'm just saying I'd sooner use the hammer on the window than go find a spark plug and then smash it...

Made another trip to the junkyard today for the second time in two days, this time just to browse. Found a Cherokee with the little speakers in the knee panel, so we yanked them. Had a couple opportunities to get two overhead consoles, but we didn't and I regret it.....Anyway, spent part of the day just messing around and putting the little speakers in. Sounds a little better with them, actually!

I think that's about how bit they are, they're just little things. As for hooking them up, I couldn't find the connectors for them, so I just (and I'm fairly sure it's not the best idea) used those blue wire tap connectors and hooked them up. They work and don't sound distorted or anything.

Awesome, I didn't think you could change steering wheels when you have an airbag.
