FINALLY got my overhead console working! Considered pulling the interior wiring harness out of the donor Jeep the console was in, but after a little extra research into the wee hours of the mornin', figured out I only needed to use four wires total; Switched 12V+, Ground and two for the temp probe.
Works pretty nice, especially the lights! They light the inside up, not to mention flood my camera with light. So much, it couldn't adjust anymore to get a better shot. But, either way, I love it! Compass and temp are pretty accurate as well!

On mine, it's directly under the middle of the radiator and behind the bumper. Not hard to get to. Should be able to see the mounting tab from the front, or the sensor itself from underneath.

Replaced the tstat, housing, and pass window motor. Jeep seems to run better now, a slight drop in oil pressure though. I was expecting that now that its running closer to proper temp. Gotta get motivated to fix my vacuum issues next weekend now. There is a vac line near my coolant pressure bottle than when connected my axle disco will engage and disengage at random. It works fine with it just plugged, its the blue line that feeds down somewhere

If thats the blue line then yes. It was connected up when i got it. I disconnected it and the axle disco started working. I wasnt sure what it was for. Now i have a question. There are two lines that run from around the battery to the coolant bottle. One goes to the black thing mounted on the firewall and the other just ends at the coolant bottle. Thats what that blue line was connected into. I wonder where that line runs to and what its for. Maybe i need to take a pic of it.
