Ordered new goodyear radiator hoses and rebuilt my fog light switch to restore continuity, now to find something to switch it to.

Diagnosed and fixed vent air issue (only blowing out defroster vents). Vacuum lines going to the canister behind front bumper were a mess. Relocated canister under the coolant jug and repaired the lines. Vents working properly now on my 88 XJ. (Not to mention idle seems a bit better)

You can get the lights off of eBay. The spacers are hard to find. Just google em and start researching. Good luck cause they are hard hard hard to find.

Yours was easy. Mine would switch to defrost under hard acceleration. Turns out the vacuum hose from hvac to the bottle had a crack and since my pressure bottle loved to leak at the time, it had filled the canister full of water. While I replaced the pressure bottle I relocated the canister and I solved 2 problems at the same time. Gotta love the renix era xjs and mjs

Today while I cleaned up my dash wiring I learned that mjs and xjs share the same front harness. Ended up cutting the wrong connector off the harness for my washer pump. Gonna keep that washer fluid wire for something else.

Installed the rock krawler 3 link brackets on the jeep. Took longer than expected because I had frame stiffeners welded on. So I had to trim few things and stuff.

Got the back hatch marked and ready for tomorrow's installation of LED lights. I'll get pics posted tomorrow.

I did even MORE painting today! This time on the header piece where the Jeep logo is. Followed the body lines off the hood onto it for some of the blue, then the rest got a couple good coats of undercoating. If anyone's curious, this is what I'm using for all the parts I do with it: http://www.rustoleum.com/product-cat...-undercoating/

So far I've done the header piece now, grill and headlight surrounds and the overhead console. Looks pretty good and stands of nicely to the sun and rock chips, it seems! Does fade to grey a little, but since it's rubberized, Armor All fixes it pretty well!

Here's what I got around to doing today. Thinking about doing the mirrors, white cowl piece and the driving lights with the undercoating as well soon. Here she is parked out in the sunlight, masked off and sprayed.

And the finished product! I think the blue bleeding down onto it looks pretty nice, myself!

So uh I know it's a D35 but you might want to check your diff fluid a little more often. lol

That looks really neat! I like how you're following the contours of the hood and extending that idea to the sides.

Thank you! I visualized it a little different, but decided this way looks better. And I agree with you on that diff fluid....Almost looks like there's metal shavings in it, but it might just be the camera flash if it had one. EDIT: Oops, there was a flash....I missed the reflection bloom when I first saw it. Disregard!!
