Pulled the 5.9 out of the garage for the first time today in over a month.
Went from this:
To this:
While it was down, I replaced the whole stock audio with JBLs in the doors, 1000W amp, dual 12s with a 820W amp. Upgraded the stock TB with a 52mm one. The obviously rolled Monstaliner over it and picked up a beefy bumper.
Retrofitted projectors go on tomorrow, then it'll be on the road. - https://i.imgur.com/tAxQe1J.jpg

I'll tell you what I did to my jeep today. After 6 months of rebuilding and troubleshooting, I turned the key in the ignition and drove her all over town with a cheese *** grin from ear to ear knowing that everybody on the road knew what it took to get her running. That's what I did.

Realized how much easier it is to install sliders with the right kind of drill bit and an impact driver! Wow what a difference the right tools make.

Zj steering, and rear brakes. I've never been so pissed off working in drums as a was today. I won't put new brake shoes on this ***** again. It's time to start gathering disc swap parts.

Removed old front shocks and coil springs. Getting ready to install new RC 3" lift. Also tore out inner front fender linings.
