Well I shall look at stores around me. Im not cheaping out if I can't get one sent from IRO. I've been trying so very hard to spend the little extra dollar here and there to get it highway worthy. Which it hasn't been since I lifted it.

And right before I gave my jeep a year leave when the stock bolt broke and I lost the nut thing I replaced it with a grade 8 3/8 or something along those lines and got death wobble and all that crap. So I'm pretty serious about getting every end covered.

Possible you wallowed out the hole by using a slightly too small bolt in it. See how the right hardware fits

It was my understanding that the IRO set up had a bigger bolt then stock?

Last week, I took my Jeep to the dealership (gasp!) to see if the previous owner had taken it in for recall issues. (He had.) While I was there, they did an "inspection" and told me my aux fan was dead. A new one was over $100 and only 5 days away! Well, that might explain why she's been running hot lately. However, I declined their polite offer.

Later on that day, I checked it out. The fan DID rattle a bit, but that's only because it was holding on by the two top screws. The bottom tabs had broken off. A zip tie fixed that issue. Then I plugged the connector back in. That fixed the non-op issue!

I don't know how long it's been that way so I flushed the system. The coolant looked green with a hint of red. I had done a drain & fill last year, but this time I did an actual flush. It came out brick red! I filled it back up and went out to the Mojave desert towing a trailer. No issues.

Oh, also last week, I changed the TRE at the pitman arm because it was shot.

Yes I know this. I'm saying the bolt that came with the IRO kit is larger then stock. I think.

You paid more than you could have. If that included install then that's not to bad.
Here are some generic cat prices, pretty low metal quantity wise but still pass emissions http://performance-curve.com/410250.aspx compared to commie fornia cats http://performance-curve.com/carbleg...aapproved.aspx

It included install. $85 an hour seems like a lot for labor tho especially when it took 20 minutes.

They probably used a more expensive OE-style cat, Performance Curve is ridiculously cheap in part because they're high-flow, which implies less precious metal. If you check out Rock Auto you'll see cats priced about what you paid. So yeah, assuming you didn't buy an empty shell, $150 total for a new cat is a pretty good deal.

I would have took that opportunity to order a hi-flo cat. No one should own an XJ unless they can do maintenance themselves or they're millionaires.
