Upper Bushings
Yesterday I replaced upper control arm bushings in record time. 15 minutes to get the old ones out and 10 to install new ones.
Not counting all the parts I removed to drop the axle...

More like what I did in the last week. Installed trailer hitch. Had to cut the exhaust back and add a new hanger. Added trailer lights on a 7 way connector and mounted in the bumper. And yesterday did a full tune up and changed the oil sending unit. While I had everything off I was able to clean up the that side of the motor pretty good. And also got bolts for my coil as the PO had it held on with zip ties.
Didn't notice till I got them out but it had 2 differed brands of wires and plugs in it. It smoothed out quite a bit with a bit better response and its actually allot quieter. That was actually the biggest difference. Next up is either the exhaust our going through the suspension and bushings haven't decided yet.

How can I modify the cam position sensor in the distributor so I can rotate the sensor slightly clockwise?

yea don't modify the distributor - it's not adjustable for a reason.

If the carrier is still out, stick a rag firmly in one tube from inside the pumpkin. Use a long broom handle to push the rag through from the opposite tube and push all that gunk out, Repeat until clean.
I have also used a shop-vac (with diff cover removed to allow air flow) with the brush attachment.

I got stuck about 600 miles away from home. I had to replace my alternator because I didn't feel like bypassing the internal voltage regulator.
