Well today I replace all 4 shocks, went with the Monroe shocks as I don't do any off roading. It took me 2 3/4 hours in the garage to do them (stupid rear upper bolts). No more clunking when hitting bumps in the road. Then while at the local Menards's I couldn't resist and traded my XJ for this Bad Boy Prius

Sweet! Seems simple enough. Could you get me specs on it? Like thickness of steel and overall length across it? I work in a metal factory and can get the steel for free and have one of the welders make it for me. They're all certified so if should turn out nice! Also, how much we're the D ring tabs?

Today, wife did a great job on the rims! They needed help so... she got the trusty Rustoleum and painted them all aluminum and they look great!
Replaced tie rod ends, connector bar and other misc. front end work... now aligned, and balanced and runs smooth as silk!
Hey, sometimes you just have to give your little Jeep a little love. Mine's smiling now and she's going to get to go on a "road trip" to Las Vegas, so of course she got a fresh Turtle wax job so she looks pretty for her first big city adventure!
Her next bit of love will be a new temp gauge instead of the idiot light, that's coming up early next week, before the heat of summer out here in Arizona... also, ordered a couple of new Jeep ball caps one in black, and one in army green... great deal on ebay...got to have the Jeep bling...

Put a Rough Country 2" lift in, now I have a rattle from rear corner. Thinking bad bushing from rear sway bar linkage. Is there a longer one for a 2" lift, only ones I see are for 4" and above.
Also wondering how big of tire I can put on the factory rims and still have clearance, pretty small wheel housing.
