Got the damage from the accident appraised. Getting a nice fat check to fix the damage. tail light is fixed already and I got a color match tailgate for $80. Think some nice offroad bumper are in order.

I finished up putting a CJ 4x4 shifter **** in mine in the wee hours of the morning. Kind of a tangent project while putting my interior back together.

Finished my 136 amp alt upgrade. Works great! Also installed the 703's. Great throttle response. Always.

Tuesday:
Bought a fan clutch. On my way to work from the parts store 1 bead tore off my seep belt and wrapped itself around the fan destroying the bearings in the water pump.
Abandoned my jeep at work.
Wednesday:
Bought new water pump, thermostat, serp belt and had the jeep towed to my buddy's shop (HVAC, not automotive).
Thursday:
Installed water pump and thermostat then it got dark and cold and we stopped.
Friday: replaced fan clutch and serp belt. While running the engine and checking the hoses we found that a heater valve (not sure of it's exact title) had deteriorated and crumbled in my buddies hands. Back to the parts store with pics of what we broke to get a new one. Installed whatever it was and the cherokee rides again.
Up until the last part we broke, the cost of the tow was more than the cost of the parts. That last part put me slightly over. All said and done, it was about $230 for everything from the tow to the parts to a running jeep.
This is the polar opposite of my Acura. Easy to wok on and cheap parts.
