I need to do that to mine. It's grimy from splashes, various leaks (which I plan to fix this summer), and mostly from being too cheap or lazy to use a funnel when doing my own oil changes.

Mine looked like it never saw a cleaning before. i think none of the P.Os washed it. Gatta be careful though, that pressure will cut a wire right in half. Or soak your distributor, like i did

I always soak my engine compartment in degreaser. The good kind. Then use pressure soap at my local self serv. Works great.

Dropped it off to get Exo cage installed by S&D fabrication. I wired his new shop for all his equipment and he is doing my cage. Three weeks I shall return to a caged and frame stiffed xj.

I use the diesel powered steam cleaner I have access to at work.
I've also had good luck with using o'reilley brand foaming degreaser

Just wanted to give my thanks to James and Ares Fabrication. My Evolution Wench Bumper came in today and it was exactly what I wanted. See I work in Indonesia and trying to conduct business from over here can be a real challenge. With me working here and living in the states, James was patient, professional and hopefully became a friend from this one transaction. I think we both walked away also learning something. Which is always a positive!

At any rate, I will be purchasing again (rear bumper tire carrier & Roof Rack) in a couple months and I again look forward to a great experience, service and professionalism James provides. His product reflects his attitude and who he is as a business owner operator and person. Thanks James and personal, for the great bumper and customer service.

Good to hear, I'm gonna be ordering the evolution bumper here next month.
