What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Rebuilt my d30 and 8.8
D30
Detroit truetrac 4.10 gears
Chromoly shafts
Riddlr cover
New breaks, bearings, ball joints,
U-joints, and axle tube seals
8.8
LSD 4.10 gears
Yukon 8.8 kit with chromoly shafts
Riddlr cover
New breaks, lines, hand break lines,
Pinion seal, and rotors
There maybe some I missed but trust that it's ready to go.

Also got a call from the shop. They are cutting the rear frame at the rear seat and doing a complete tube rear. Said it would be much stronger and easier to work with for them.

I'm in the same game. Waiting for my friend to bring me a part out of his Mercedes I can modify for him (dealer wants $2500). It'll take me a few hours, but in return he's putting a brand new set of 33" Duratracs on my TJ (he runs a big box tire place).

Just got the news on the '95's head. One bad valve guide and the exhaust seats are shot. 0.01 warp. Unfortunately there's a crack between #3 and #4 going into the water jacket.

Ha ha, so long highly restrictive factory dented exhaust pipe!
Just put it in today and I've already noticed an extra 5 hp, 10 lbs. of torque, better gas mileage, smoother idle, 10 degrees less engine temp and my cholesterol has dropped 20 points.
