Today I fit the hi-lift on the roof in it's 'jackguard' case. It looks more like an assault rifle case so I will not be able to use it around here..
When I used synthetic for the first time with NapaGold 1515 filter, it caused strange issues and spikes in oil pressure.
Drained the oil after 200 miles and it was nasty black, very thick, full of what appeared to be broken down sludge. Seems the synthetic cleans the engine and may require a few fill & drains with filter.
I went back to conventional and it's running clean.
Does it look like this..

New NSS and Mopar Crankshaft Position Sensor
The JB Weld was still holding but for only $50 I figured that I could not go wrong with a new NSS. I also put in a new Mopar CPS. Last week it was throwing codes for the NSS and CPS. I replaced the CPS under warranty at Autozone and the CPS code kept coming back so went with a factory one. One big difference is the plug wire is longer on the Mopar so no tension on the plug or CPS.

Today I drove mine out of the garage, then back in.
