Worked on my '00. New valve cover gasket, plugs, coil pack, and painted the headlight bezels and grille black.

Make sure you clean and lube the tap often, also don't force it. Use a magnetic screwdriver to get the shavings out of the hole. Hacking is the easy part, then it's basically just a matter of drilling your hole straight and center, which you should do with the motor running after center punching. It's not as difficult as everyone else (myself included) make it seem.

Thank for the tip. Ive tapped thinner metal before, bumper, and did just that. Dip bit, pour lil oil on spot and then tap. Looking forward to finally having the right size DS lol and less vibrations. But i have a feeling motor mounts are my next purchase

I cleaned all oil and grime off, scuffed with 240 grit sandpaper, then cleaned with acetone. 10 minutes later I painted with engine primer and allow it to dry 30 mins then lay down the color of your choice and wait 1 hour between coats. I put on three coats of yellow
I kind of figured that stuff out, hahaha, pretty basic painting skills, but is there a certain paint I need to use, is high heat?

Six of Em and the instructions said they should go in the front three holes of the bumper...they aren't long enough to get through the bumper bracket, frame bracket, and frame. they stick through maybe 2mm. they're these short squatty little bolts. I wonder if they gave me a packet of back bumper bolts somehow? the steering box bolts were right, just can't figure these stupid little things.

Read the instructions.

They don't go into the frame iirc, they should go into the bumper itself or get backed by nuts
