I gave my neighbor a ride in my 1999 Cherokee XJ (new paint, new interior, new stereo, new rims & tires, newly tinted windows)....and he noticed the mileage was 142,000. He said, "Wow that's a lot of miles!" I told him, "its just barely broken in at this time!" 260,000 miles.....if your odometer could talk! I only drive the Jeep about 10,000 miles per year so it will take me awhile to get to 260K. See you in 2226!(?)
change fuel filter and looked like it was the original fuel filter with 142k miles on it. I can defenetly feel better throttle respone now. will clean injectors next and eventually plan on dropping the tank for cleaning. the filter was really bad all the gas was becoming black when going trough the filter and I have a feeling that because of how dirty the filter is the tank is going to be in a preaty bad condition.

Good one. I've owned it for over a year now and there's a chirping shredding sound in there that is not normal. I have the regular ol' broken exhaust manifold puffing going on, but there's something else afoot.

I wasn't joking. Maybe it didn't pick it up in the video? Or somewhere between your camera, YouTube and my phone it got dithered out...
If that's the noise you're hearing than it probably isn't good. I have a similarly described noise only at certain RPMs. I'm assuming it has something to do with exhaust, either loose and touching somewhere or loose pieces of the cat converter.

Yeah it doesn't show up on single speakers. I dumped the oil to check it for metal, but nothings in there so that's a relief. Probably the balancer.

Threw in some cheap Scosche 6.5" speakers in the front doors. Sounds great over the Infinity 5.25"s from factory. Only $30 at Wally world. Reused one stock mounting hole and redrilled 3 others and they fit nice and tight. Sounds clean with Peel N Seal behind em too.
