this is true. As long as the frame rails and sills are fine it can be fixed! Look for a full floor pan to cut up - there's a seller on amazon that sells them. Makes a world of difference when you're trying to repair floors that bad.

Trying to patch up by one self is a real PITA. Even a small spot takes forever

Changed out the upper hinge pin and bushings on the drivers door, it only took 4 hours
Probably would have gone a lot faster if I could have taken the door off completely and got my DIY pin extractor on the hinge, but I grabbed the wrong torx driver by mistake and stripped the head on one of the lower bolts
