Thinking about taking off the grill and headlight housing to spray with plastidip this weekend. Is this a good option or should I use actual paint or bed liner?
Plastidip would be fine, but might be a bit of a pain if you want to remove it to paint later.

I used this on mine well over 3 years ago. Still looks perfect - just scuff it with a scotch-brite pad before spraying

Spent the day cursing and swearing at the trailer hitch and rear bumper, with some special choice words for the person that hacked and scrapped the hitch to the frame

Its a good thing I couldn't find the phone book because I may have called the wrecker to come take it away

Finally got the hitch off, and ended up having to take the bumper off the mounts and not the mounts of the jeep. Found some more frame rust I will need to take care of, but I don't feel safe welding near the gas tank so now I am going to have to drop that too

Done for the day, waiting on the charcoal then it time to cook some burgers and try forget about today. Tomorrow I get to go back to fighting with the bumper mounts, 3 bolts out, 5 to go. Are all bumper mounts fastened with a mix of 14mm 15mm and 16mm bolts I didn't think so

Got my exhaust in... well in enough. I got two pinhole leaks on my welds and a big leak where it attaches to the downpipe. I think I'm going to need to step down then pipe size there. I also will have to do something more permanent for a tail pipe mount even though the safety wire worked great lol. Its miles ahead of just a downpipe though, sounds so much quieter

Finally got around to pressing my jj into my Axle.
Made the u shaped bracket at work and swapped the internals to accommodate a 5/8 bolt.
Looks like the range of motion is still alright even tho it used to be a 7/16 bolt.

Thanks. Noticed I was a smidge off center but its on the right so my error gave it a slight towarfs driver angle. I used a 2" ridgid hole saw on a 2" od gauge. It was a little tight but it doesnt move at all I did install the hold down on the back just for extra hold. I love the Phillips head screw fasteners everywhere. I used the wire pack just above/left of the accelerator cable connection its foam rubber. My psi is solid 55 at idle cold 45 after 30 minutes so it did its job and paid for itself already. I have to wire it up but left my tools in the work van. Now I need to install my 1970s sunpro sun tach on it and recheck the flywheel
