Yup, use lots off cutting oil and take your time with those hole saws. I drilled two holes through 1/2" plate with a hole saw for my hitch. Took some time but it cut through fairly well. Here's the hitch almost finished.

Ordered doetsch tech 8000 shocks and a two sets of rear rc bpes, going to use them on all four shocks. They don't rotate the mount so there's no reason why they shouldn't work in the front, all bar pins are the same.

Installed an inexpensive fix for my broken headlight lens....

I had been contemplating a set of stone guards for it anyway so....

Got them for a shade under ten bucks on eBay. I was trying to find them in black, but the ones I kept finding in black were more expensive so I went with the chrome. Turns out these are extremely beefy and made real sturdy and cover more of the headlight than most that I've seen.

The trick is getting the hub assembly off. My method is to leave the 12-point socket and extension on the rear bolt (after loosening all three) then turning the steering wheel. Hub assembly pops loose.

Hub was changed iirc about a year ago. Too many potholes killed the u joints or rather knocked the clip out. U joints aren't that old. Just want peace of mind with new ones. Just to clarify, the driver u joint has movement
