Swore at it because it was running hotter than normal, almost took a bat to it.
Installed a new radiator cap and ordered a new fan clutch because i could free wheel that ***** all day if i didn't have to work...

No going so well. One side is done, but I snapped the lower driver shock mount, gonna have to drill that out, run a bolt through and weld it. The front leaf spring bolt was seized to the bushing and I now have a leaf spring eye with one side of bolt cut off that I can't get out. Oh and I haven't even got to the shackle to body bolt yet. **** **** ****.
lol I don't advocate cutting any bolts unless you're prepared to cut a lot of other stuff and weld some other stuff too...
Normally the bushing's inner sleeve seizes to the bolt. I got around this bu hacking away at the eye and bushing until it spun. 3/4 I had to make two or three cuts down to the sleeve (ended up scoring the bolt a little bit. no biggie) and it freed up and I was able to remove the bolt as normal. One was kinda ****ty and I pretty much completely removed the bushing and sleeve lol. If you have patience and sawzall blades this method works.

Three layers of sheet metal? No wonder you're having mystery holes appear, someone's been sealing in the rot for a long time
I replaced my wheel weights with balancing beads(.25gram airsoft bbs) Also swapped all of my lca bolts that were wearing where the lca sleeve rides with grade 8 9/16ths hardware
How do the beads feel? Any different than the weights? I'm thinking about doing this.
My injector connection clip broke off and wanted to know if it was possible to tear it apart and install another one instead if the cut and splice.. I already have a spare harness off a 03 tj that I wanted to use the connectors off of

How do the beads feel? Any different than the weights? I'm thinking about doing this.
So much smoother than the weights, no vibes at all.
I have been battling death wobble for a while now with my brand new tires and between the bbs and my driveway alignment today it's run smooth as glass so far

I got a 5,000 ct .25 gram bb case for 15$ from Walmart.
Just divided it into 4 and put Em in. It's about 8.5 oz in each tire
Installed homemade heat shields above the muffler and cat. Made a pretty good difference. I made a 4 mile loop and measured the temp directly above the muffler and cat through some of my rust holes in the floor. At the end of my drive above the muffler was at 131 and still climbing slowly. Above the cat was 167 and after I stopped was climbing fairly quickly. I installed the shield and took off on the same loop. When I got back above the muffler was at 104 and pretty steady. Slow climb at stops then would cool back of at speed. Above the cat was 127 with a moderate climb at stops and cooling back off at speed.

That's pretty much what happened. Lol.
I knew the bolt was out enough that I didn't have to toque on the last little "nub" to get it out. I used a cut off disc on one side, wouldn't come out even though the mount was all bent outwards. Then I had to cut the eye of the leaf off so I could get in there and try and work it free. I ended up having to use a saws all to get the other side cut off. Then just turned the "nub" until it came out.
Luckily the shackle to body bolt on that side came out free of the bushing sleeve.
My driver side lower shock mount (rear) decided to break when I took it off. Had to cut it flush drill through it and use a bolt like I did the other side when it happened.
I got it all in last night though. I gotta admit I'm not very happy with the shackle angle. Its basically vertical. I knew it wouldn't be perfect with extended shackles and stock HD leafs but I didn't think it'd be that bad. It also makes it sit a bit high in the rear. At least its better than the stock leafs that cams off of it.
Put drop brackets in the floor. Bolted manual tire changer down and did my MT-r tires. The guy across the street from me has a tire balance machine, so I used it to balance them.
Cleaned out the front differential for the first time, and tried to reinstall the cover sideways LOL. Got RTV everywhere and had to clean it all back off and try again.
