I solved my knocking today. Installed all new rod bearings. I found that cylinder 6 was worn pretty bad:

I recall you just replaced the fan clutch and radiator cap. Anything else? The thermostat housing can be tricky to seal.

Is no problem make sure you didn't knock hoses around. Check the thermostat housing to make sure you didnr hit it after doing the clutch

Nice!
The only issue with those yokes is, the u-bolts get tightened a little too much and the u-joint cap becomes distorted and binds or prevents joint movement.
The only good thing about straps is they prevent this from happening (idiot-proof).

that only usually happens when people try to retrofit the stock yoke with a strap since the holes aren't in the correct place. Those appear to be new yokes designed for the straps (see how the inside edge of the strap lines up with the edge of the cap seat in the yoke?)

Thanks for clarifying! That is the big difference, the strap being on the outside edge of cap, rather than the middle like a retrofitted yoke would be. Now I know.

On topic: yesterday I drove through the maritime forest trails (primitive roads). I buckled the seatbelt and hit the whoops, the overhead console fell down along with the speaker bar. Guess I should slow down next time.
