Bought a Gatorback belt and new coil for it. Trying to bribe him so maybe he'll fix himself. Can't figure out where this damn squeak on the belt is coming from. Gonna hit the junkyard and get a new compressor bracket, I'm thinking it might be the bearing for the fan pulley. And the threads for the idler's stripped out, so yeah.
Not very happy with raider right now.

Last night I got started on my 99s front suspension. New coils, shocks and control arms.
Got the calipers, shocks, sway bar and LCA axle side disconnected. The body side bolt of the LCA was stuck in there on both sides. Still had to disconnect the steering and track bar to get it to unseat the coils. Track bar bolt broke, steering would come off the pitman arm so I had to disconnect everything else, then it came loose from the pitman arm.
Finally axle drooped enough to get old coils out. Got new ones in. Connected new shocks on the top.
Then I looked at the track bar bolt. The hole for it was worn into a slight oval shape. So I cut up some scrap steel and made a new hole for it. Welded that on over it.
By then I lost a lot of light. I started putting stuff back together. The TB is about two inches shy of fitting in the TB hole. I know the axle probably moved but I think I may need an adjustable TB. I called it a night because I was too tired to mess with it anymore. I ordered a JKS and it said it won't be here til Monday. So if I get it back together today and don't need one I'm canceling the order. Lol
I'm lifting it with OME coils and a 3/4" spacer. I didn't think I'd need a TB. I never even started on the seized LCA bolts. ****.
Had to drive my 91 home (4.5" lift, Long Arms, etc.) Got death wobble while going about 45mph after hitting a bump. Great. Now I'm on pins and needles driving it around til my 99 is done.

Beach Bum
^ Easiest way to line up the trackbar is to jack up one side of axle or the other, depending on which way it needs to go.
Let's fix that death wobble too..

Aligning the track bar though, I didn't think of jacking up one side I was tired and it was late. Probably a good thing I called it a night. I will try that when I go over there today. Thanks.

Wired up my bumper LED light bar just like my Roof LED light bar so now both of them use a factory foglight switch.
