drove it on the highway for the first time after replacing the front axle and all the steering components. It tracked nice and straight but got a really bad vibration at 75mph.
Yesterday I got a offer to traid my cherokee for a wrangler. Im debating it. The wrangler needs a new rear axle and a lift kit and I would be happy with it. Just dont know what shape the motor is.

havin a good memorial weekend
well today I fixed two vacuum leaks, one in my XJ and one in my Ram1500!!! my ram is my daily driver and for the last year or so Ive been trying to locate this damn leak and I finally tracked it down and fixed it!!! perfect vacuum pressure 17-21 im running 19!!! PREFECT!
Installed a cold air intake in the XJ, fixed the A/C control panel so now it actually works!!! Fixed the pervious owners wiring mistakes in the stereo!!! all 5 speakers work!!! seafoamed the engine, and picked up a set of adjustable shackles so I can put in the lift!!! 3'' coils and 2'' adjustable shackles!!!
Once it cools down later in the day (currently 97degrees) Im gonna wash the XJ and the Ram!!

I had to get the upper radiator hose replaced, do the gasket on the front differential and changed the plug on the rear differential. I didn't do the work, but I know they did a good job. I used to work there.....Anyways, the guy that did it is good at what he does and he also painted the cover (blue) after doing the gasket. Let's hope it doesn't leak now.

Drove it 60miles round trip, Mostly highway driving. Wow I really need my motor rebuilt. Its so down on power... Got it up to 75MPH had it tracked nice and straight. It did develop a really bad vibration at 70. But other than that it was a ok trip.
It poured while I was at the party so I had to ride home wet because of my stupid sun roof. I've really got to fix it soon.

well was planning on washing today but decided not to, got alot done a few hours ago. but did a little more now that it cooled down today.
Installed my projection headlights (HID conversion in the mail)
put new bulbs in the running lights!
turned my driveway into a oil field... damn drain pan had a stripped cap so when i picked it up 6qts spilled all over the driveway... thank god my sister has a cat, i just used a full 10lb bag of kitty litter to clean the spill... now my driveway smells bad and is stained... thank god i was already thinking about resurfacing my driveway...
for some reason i cant upload a photo of my new cold air intake that i installed this morning but i at least was able to upload my lights!
time to sit back watch tv and have a beer...
let me know what you all think of the lights

Today, I blew a u-joint, pulled the rear driveshaft, and used it as a front wheel drive. It just so happens that due to the low gearing of four wheel drive that I can spin the front tires in third gear

I like what you did with your lights Sparke. All I did today was do a multi meter check on the Crankshaft sensor plug today. It was out of spec it was reading at 300 ohms. I've ordered a new one so I'll replace it and maybe keep the old one for a back up. She starts most days, the days that she doesn't I do the unplug and replug and then it starts.
