Fixed CB antenna coax
finally got around to soldering a new PL-259 onto the end of my external CB coax end after the last one tore off the end of the cable when I was disassembling the antenna assembly.
SWR is WAY better than it was with the old connector!

You should see the looks I get sitting at a light in the YJ with the top and doors off, soaked to the bone with the stereo cranked : laughing:

My 35s really don't take any longer than my friends' 31s cause they're already at a much lower PSI when I start airing down.

It takes me 5 min to get from 32psi to 15 psi on my 35" km2s

Where is your battery negative cable hooked up on the passenger side of the engine?

The factory PSI rating is meant for stock tires. It's the amount of air that needs to be in the tire for proper function. With a larger tire, the same amount of air results in a lower tire pressure. If you put smaller tires on, the pressure would need to increase.
There isn't a perfect formula due to the changes in sidewall stiffness and added weight from aftermarket accessories.

Big day, cleaned the head and installed the new head gasket, put everything back together with new seals, belt and tune up! 5 days of ownership and I'm on a roll!
Found a burnt exhaust valve cylinder #5 going to inspect the injector after but it could have been a result of the failed head gasket.
Now I need engine mounts, way too worn and too clunky for a manual.

Just got bored so I went out and swapped my red LEDs in the gauge cluster for white LEDs. They look super bright in the daytime. I like it.
I also put on a bunch of new door panel clips. I've broken a lot of them having the door panels on and off. Now they're snug as a bug in a rug. No more flopping around like Lebron.

I've never seen an XJ that should be near 32psi on 35s. I run 24psi in my MTZs on 15x8 wheels under the YJ, and I get even tread wear.

I may bring Em down to 25 and see how she does.
Thanks, clown!

I've read up on that a bit, I started at 35(sidewall stated max psi) went down to 32, the corners of the tire still don't touch the asphalt. Basically people sId to run whatever feels best and gives you the best tire wear.
