Started yanking wires from the F150 so I can figure out what's been removed/modified in the dash over the last 36 years.

Removed the dash pad, gauge cluster, glove box, heater controls, and air ducting.

Painted the gauge needles orange, removed the plastic covers that 'tinted' the old bulbs blue, and swapped in red LEDs.

Original dash speaker and air duct.

And we cleaned up the air cleaner cover so there's something shiny under the hood.

Well I got some more done. Got new sway bar bushings on. One bolt broke because I decided to try an impact on it. Used a propane torch on the others and they came right out. So I heated the broken one and used an easy out successfully for the first time lol.

My new rule: if it doesn't move burn it til it does.

Gotta play with the impact lol. I used my impact for my sway bar bushings. Played the trigger to tighten it a lil then kept tapping the trigger to slowly unscrew it. That and PB it first of course

I used PB and WD40 Rust Penetrate soaked it several times. I smacked it with a hammer first and had the impact turned down. Still broke it. Lol.

I should've started with heat. It has been my miracle worker with this 99s suspension.

Default Tensioned Serpentine Belt

Finally got around to tensioning the serpentine belt properly. When I bought it a month ago, it squealed something fierce any time you turned on the A/C. Twenty minutes of tightening and testing got it to the point where you could run the A/C without the squeal once the belt was warmed up and the engine wasn't under too much load.

I ordered a Krikit II a while back and finally got around to using it. FM says for a used belt, tension should be 130-140 pounds. Mine was 80! Cranked it up in the 135ish range and will drive it to work tomorrow (that oughta' looked great, slacks, tie, white shirt, climbing out of a jacked up off-road rig! ) and see if that has the problem sorted.

If the belt was that loose then its probably time to get a gatorback belt. They stretch out over time and you don't want it breaking on you while driving

I cleaned up my project..

Removed the broken seat mount bolt from the other day, and installed my passenger Grand Cherokee seats. They are the same color, flash makes it look funny

Realized that the plastic trim on the seats bulged out too wide and rubbed the B pillar making an awful squeak. So out came the dremel and I hacked some of the plastic trim off the seats. You cant even see it really. I just show you in the pictures

pulled all the way forward

T5? That's a lot of codiene! I thought they stopped at T3.

ATF means "Automatic Transmission Fluid". It's a generic term that describing hydraulic/gear fluid for automatic transmissions

^ Nice Jack!

I did a few fixes, had a missing window rear louver on my left side so I took two white ones from the junk yard and painted them black, looks way better.

Fixed my fender flare too!

Some brands market their transmission fluid with a big ol ATF right on the bottle. And its not even universal between the same brand. I have seen the valvoline import, Mercon V and DexIII/Mercon bottles all have ATF on the front during different label/bottle designs.

Always have to read the fine print!

Good looking two door!

Seeing you fix your flare reminded me I still have to figure out something about my black vinyl trim on the bottom on my jeep. The moldings were falling off when I bought it, so I just ripped them off. But now I need to figure out if I'm going to rhino line the bottom or re-vinyl it.

I have so many projects on the list for my jeep it gets ridiculous finding a good order for them. I did the seats because they appeared on Craigslist randomly for 50 bucks a mile from my house!
